Idols are passive items imbued with abilities that activate regardless of the religious devotion, magical affiliations, etc. of any parties involved in its usage. The group may carry as many idols as they please in their inventory, though only a certain number will be activated at once, coinciding with the number of players currently active. These idols may be selected and switched at the cost of a turn during battle, or freely when not in one.

Idol rarity is ranked as: Frighteningly common, Very common, Common, Somewhat common, Uncommon, Very uncommon, Impossibly uncommon. This is relative to other Idols, and it should be known that even Common-rarity Idols are not very easy to come by as other drops are. Idols may be dropped by enemies at random or may be sold in stores.

There are 50 Idols in total, with the final one (the Hinoco Logo) not being available by conventional means.
